Among the high-profile cases was the arrest of Hauwa Yusuf, a 30-year-old woman from Dutsin-Ma LGA of Katsina State. Hauwa was intercepted on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway while transporting an AK-47 rifle and four magazines concealed in a sack of garri. She later confessed to delivering the weapons on behalf of a notorious bandit who has been terrorizing Katsina State.
