For the second time in a week, the Director General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA), Umar Ibrahim Mohammed, welcomed World Bank representatives to a crucial meeting. The delegation included Nkem Joseph-Palmer, a Senior Disaster Risk Manager, and Francis Samson Nkoka, a Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist.
During the discussions, the Director General underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships with international organizations like the World Bank to address the challenges of flood management and disaster risk reduction in Nigeria.
