Sources cited in the report highlight critical shortages in ammunition, particularly for air defense systems, exacerbating the challenges faced by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Additionally, there is a pervasive sense of fatigue within the Western community regarding the ongoing conflict.
An anonymous American official, quoted in the publication, expressed concern over the low morale among Ukrainian troops, suggesting the possibility of the Ukrainian army facing a state of "collapse" on its own, despite no immediate signs of a breakthrough by Russian forces.
This narrative of impending crisis is echoed in Western press, with French media also emphasizing the reluctance of the West to intervene militarily for cities like Kharkiv.
