As the world continues to witness with disbelief the ongoing massacre funded by the USA and UK, orchestrated by Israel in Gaza, the bloodshed, sorrow, tears, and widespread starvation of Palestinians paint a grim picture.
With the cold-blooded murder of over 31,819 Palestinian martyrs, 73,934 injured, and nearly 8,500 missing, of which more than 2/3rd are women and children, alongside the outright starvation of over 2 million people, the world expects Muslim Northern Nigeria to take the lead in demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, akin to efforts seen in other parts of the world.
It is commendable that *Chief Femi Fani Kayode* , a non-Muslim who prioritizes humanity over ethno-religious biases, emerges as the leading voice against the ongoing genocide, ethnic cleansing, and blatant war crimes.
Regrettably, many of our political and business leaders have refrained from commenting on the issue, possibly due to apprehension regarding powerful Israeli lobby groups, which often label any criticism of Israeli war crimes as antisemitism, with consequential political and business ramifications.
It is noteworthy that I concur with the popular sentiment: " *You don't have to be a Muslim to stand with Palestinians; you just need to be human."* However, I emphasize the Muslim North due to our religious obligation to stand against injustice and tyranny perpetrated by anyone, regardless of their faith or beliefs. Even if it were Muslims perpetrating injustice against non-Muslims, we are duty-bound to condemn it and strive to end it.
As it stands today, *Chief Femi Fani Kayode* is the foremost voice against the ongoing genocide. He has authored numerous articles that have garnered global attention, exposing the lies, propaganda, and misinformation in the mainstream media. These writings have often attracted criticism from genocide enablers, mainly from the Zionist USA and Europe, and from Zionist Israelis. It is incumbent upon us to show solidarity with Chief FFK and stand with him against the sponsored media campaigns aiming to tarnish his image and the relentless efforts by media giants like Facebook, X formerly Twitter, and Instagram to silence his voice.
We must unequivocally support FFK, provide him with the necessary assistance, and amplify his message. Standing against the powerful entities that control the world is no easy feat, but ultimately, good will prevail over evil.
It is essential to recognize that the North is not only morally obligated but also religiously duty-bound to support Chief FFK and any call against injustice, ethnic cleansing, and genocide.
