ABUJA, 26th February, 2024- As the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) gears up for a nationwide protest to advocate for workers' rights, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has issued a press release affirming citizens' fundamental right to peaceful assembly while emphasizing their commitment to ensuring safety and security during the demonstrations.
The NPF's announcement comes amidst growing anticipation and concern regarding the planned protest, with citizens eager to exercise their constitutional rights while authorities remain vigilant against potential threats to public order.
