In a significant move aimed at consolidating their activities in Borno State, the executive members of Arewa Youth and Women for Change embarked on a pivotal advocacy visit to Al-Ansar Radio and Television Station in Maiduguri.
Led by the dynamic and passionate coordinator, Comrade Amb. Abubakar S. Biye, the delegation from Arewa Youth and Women for Change arrived at the premises of Al-Ansar Foundation with a sense of purpose and determination. The sun beat down on the bustling streets of Maiduguri, a city marked by resilience and a rich tapestry of cultures.
As they entered the compound, a feeling of anticipation filled the air. The group was warmly welcomed by the General Manager of Al-Ansar Radio, Muhammad Usman, affectionately known as Mr. Moor. With a firm handshake and warm smiles, Mr. Moor greeted the visitors, inviting them into his office along Gombole road, nestled within the historic Giwa Barrack.
Seated around a conference table adorned with cups of steaming tea, the discussion commenced. Comrade Amb. Abubakar S. Biye, a fervent advocate for positive change, articulated the vision of Arewa Youth and Women for Change. He emphasized the importance of building bridges between communities, fostering unity, and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Borno State and the wider Arewa region.

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Muhammad Kyare Dikwa, the visionary founder of Al-Ansar, for his unwavering support towards the less privileged villages in the state and beyond. With a solemn tone, he offered prayers for Dr. Dikwa's continued health, prosperity, and benevolence.
Garba Y. Sura, the Media Director of Arewa Youth and Women for Change, echoed Comrade Amb. Abubakar S. Biye's sentiments, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in achieving shared goals. He passionately appealed to the management of Al-Ansar to support their organization by broadcasting informative radio programs, leveraging the power of the airwaves to educate and empower the masses.
Hajjiya Maimuna, the Welfare and Logistics Director, lauded Al-Ansar's flagship radio program, "Mata Mufarka," for its engaging and enlightening content. She shared anecdotes of listeners whose lives had been positively impacted by the program, underscoring the importance of sustained efforts in community engagement and education. With a heartfelt prayer, she wished for the program's longevity and the continued good health of its creators.
