Tinubu to Lead Nigerian Delegation at Saudi-Africa Summit in Riyadh

In a bid to bolster economic ties and attract foreign investment, President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja today for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he will attend the Saudi-Africa Summit scheduled for November10,2023.

Emphasizing Nigeria's dedication to fostering international business partnerships and drawing foreign direct investment, the President aims to highlight the ongoing economic reforms during the summit. The delegation, which includes five ministers, will focus on discussions aimed at enhancing political coordination, addressing regional security threats, and promoting economic transformation through research and the development of new energy solutions.

Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale stated that the inaugural Saudi-Africa Summit will center on joint action, cross-sectoral investment cooperation, and the development of new energy solutions. The President's attendance underscores Nigeria's commitment to regional collaboration and economic growth.

Accompanying President Tinubu will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs and other high-ranking officials, signifying Nigeria's keen interest in strengthening ties with Saudi Arabia and other African nations at this important international gathering."
