President Tinubu Taps Two Dynamic Individuals to Lead Ministry of Youth

In an official press release, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu, announced the appointment of two highly accomplished individuals to key positions within the Federal Ministry of Youth. Pending confirmation by the Senate, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim has been nominated as the Minister of Youth, while Mr. Ayodele Olawande has been nominated as the Minister of State for Youth.

Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim brings a wealth of experience to the table, with her background as a young medical doctor and her previous role as the President of the Progressive Young Women Forum (PYWF). She also served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which showcases her commitment to promoting sustainable development and empowering youth.

Mr. Ayodele Olawande, a respected community development expert and prominent youth leader in the All Progressives' Congress (APC), has been chosen as the Minister of State for Youth. His most recent role was in the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Innovation, where he actively contributed to advancing the nation's innovative initiatives from 2019 to 2023.

President Tinubu's nominees have been tasked with embodying the dynamism, innovative zeal, and unwavering productivity that Nigerian youth are known for. Their responsibilities will include spearheading policies and initiatives that address the needs and aspirations of the country's vibrant young population.
