The ex-militant leader Mujahhed Asari Dokubo has pleaded to the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to liaise with the National Assembly and allow the Igbos to go.
In a viral video shared on his social media handles, Mr. Asari said allowing the Igbos to go will help avoid bloodshed, blackmail and the constant cry of marginalization from the Igbos.
In his words, " Mr. President I beg you in the name of God allow the Igbos to go, by so doing we will have more resources to manage.”
“This people have given Nigeria nothing but bad name in America, Europe, India, South Africa and other countries.” He added.
The former militant leader also pleads with the National Assembly to amend the constitution allowing the Igbos and anyone who wants to join them to go with them. “ We have given you the name Biafra oya carry am go" Mr. Dokubo added.
“ Let them go and build their heaven on earth, let them build their El Dorado, as for Nnamdi Kanu let them make him their lord and savior but enough of this blackmail. “
Dokubo said the Igbos are fighting every tribe in Nigeria, yet they are claiming to be the victims, if we allow them to go at least we will have peace and more resources to share
