The love of money is the root of all evils the Bible Say's, in a juxtaposition one can also infer that the love of money, power, and status is the root cause of all failure, disgrace, and shame.
Liberty Badmus had indeed allowed his greed to get the better part of him when he accepted to serve as a member of the Renewed hope youth concert.
Bearing in mind that the concert is a celebration of the success of his avowed enemy whom he promised to never reconcile with, never forgive nor forget.
But even before the Renewed Hope Administration was sworn in, Badmus had allowed his hunger, his greed and love for power to get the better part of him.
Badmus did not only accept to serve in the committee for the preparation of the concert, but he celebrated his addition to the team and even claimed to be more Bat-ist than others. Little did he forget that his past will rare it's ugly Hydra headed head to spit in his face.
Within hours of his nomination, the progressives from all walks of life began unearthing his previous posts on social media and using the same to taunt him.
Less than 48 hours, Liberty was booted out of the concert, bruised, broken and shattered, crestfallen, left with a battered reputation.
He might have learned lesson at a very high cost and I do not indeed to add salt to his injuries since he can easily leak his wounds.
Yet, I will advise the politically exposed among us to avoid reaping where they did not sow. I will also like to advise those in the corridor of power to avoid snuggling their friends through the backdoor into the cookie jar when it was apparent those friends never participated in preparing the cookie.
For equity, justice, and fairness, let those who sow reap the reward of their hard work, finally may Liberty Badmus never happen to you.
