President Muhammadu Buhari has officially handed over the Baton of Presidential Power to President-Elect ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU today during the investiture ceremony at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja.
This marks the beginning of a gradual transfer of power from one democratic administration to another for the fourth consecutive time since Nigeria's return to democracy in 1999.
As the world awaits the formal swearing in ceremony and another democratic transition, Nigerians are ever hopeful and prayerful for the success of the New administration.
It was expected that the New President will continue and build on the numerous success recorded by the Buhari administration in the areas of infrastructural and economic development.
Despite numerous challenges of insecurity, inflation and the considerable divide between various parts of the country, it is widely expected that the incoming President will do a lot in improving and bettering the lives of Nigerians due to his track record of expertise, his experience and the solid foundation laid by the outgoing President.
