As we celebrate Labour Day today, I deeply appreciate the hardworking men and women who make up the backbone of our state's economy, particularly in the Southern Senatorial District.
Despite the challenges, our workers and entrepreneurs have remained steadfast and have continued to work tirelessly. I am honored to share this message of appreciation with you all. This day offers us the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions of workers to our society. It also affords us the opportunity to reflect on the challenges that workers face and the strides we have made toward creating a more just and equitable society.
Workers in any society are crucial to its growth and development. Your hard work and dedication are instrumental in building the Cross River State of our dreams, from civil servants to health workers, teachers, farmers, SME entrepreneurs etc, the impact of workers cannot be overstated.
As we celebrate this Labour Day, let us continue to work together towards creating a better future for ourselves and our children.
So, to all of us in Cross River State, I say a big thank you and wish you all, a happy and fulfilling celebrations.
