Renewed Hope : The Commodity Board Is Coming For Farmers!

In a bid to encourage local production, improve certainty, and increase capacity to produce staple foods, the Asiwaju led administration is promising to establish a COMMODITY BOARD for the farmers.

This board will be saddled with the responsibility of establishing a minimum price for stable foods such as cashew, cocoa, yam, rubber, etc. in order to guarantee a minimum income for the farmers.

Despite the massive improvement in agricultural investment over the years, a confidence building policy that will ensure a fair pricing system that favours the farmers with the other eye on inflation was never in place.

By establishing a commodity board, Asiwaju’s administration hopes to efficiently bring stability into local production of our everyday food.

The board will also be charged with the responsibility of working with the  private sector to deepen the use of commodity exchange and strengthen its operations.

The Asiwaju administration will be a detail oriented one that believes in making life easy for the common man by ensuring everyone gets a fair share of our prosperity.

Prep yourself to take advantage of an all-inclusive administration because relief is here.
