It could be recalled that few weeks ago the Presidential Candidate of the Labour party in the just concluded general election Mr. Peter Obi has been trending on the social media after he made a claim that he was under pressure to leave the country.
True to the claim Peter Obi made effort to leave the country but met a brick wall when he was arrested, quizzed and deported back to Nigeria from UK by the authorities last week.
Investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause and reason for his arrest and deportation from the United Kingdom.
Unconfirmed reports have associated the arrest to shady campaign deals and money laundering.
Peter Obi and the Labour Party are yet to comment on the reasons behind the arrest and deportation. Likewise the united kingdom is yet to react and or give a reason the the action.
