Arewa Youth Progressive Alliance a pan Arewa group deeply rooted in the Arewa traditional institutions and founded by Prince Bello Doka of the ancient Shinkafi Emirate Council through the Othman Dan Fodio lineage via Magaji Dango, Mohammed Tukur and Mallam Isah has appointed one of its dogged and commited members as the Garkuwan Matasan Arewa.
The Leader of the group in a statement sent to Abuja Network News was quoted thus " Yusi is a courageous and dedicated Youth, He has exemplified his leadership qualities and dedication to the Arewa traditions and Culture. "
"This appointment is in appreciation of his sterling qualities, strength of character and dedication to duties. "
Mr. Doka added that "Yusi was the first to be appointed such positions and we're making move to get him integrated into the mainstream Arewa traditional institution in sha Allah." He added.
"We are one people one nation with a common destiny, I believe as Youth we must strive to build a better world for our Children and Grandchildren." He added
