The Presidential Candidate of the opposition PDP and former vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar says INEC declared the gubernatorial election in Adamawa inconclusive but not the victory of the incumbent Governor and the Candidate of the PDP in the election.
He call on the peace loving citizens of the state to remain calm and peaceful and "await the supplementary elections in the affected areas so that they can conclude what they have started.
Alhaji Atiku made this call on his verified Facebook account few hours ago.
The original post below.
"Now that INEC Nigeria has conceded to the voices of reason by releasing the results of the Adamawa governorship election but declaring it inconclusive, we must keep our eyes on the ball. What was declared inconclusive was the election and not the eventual victory of Gov Ahmadu Fintiri. I urge the peace-loving citizens of the state to conduct themselves peacefully and await the supplementary elections in the affected areas so that they can conclude what they had started on March 18 by voting for the hardworking Fintiri. -AA"
