Sincerely, i have never seen a movement so rude, toxic, empty and full of falsehood and now garnished with hatred for opposition like the Obidient movement.
The Obidiots or Obituarists are so frustrated and disillusioned that they abuse anyone with APC clothes, souvenirs or emblem in public places. It took my enlightenment, tolerance and maturity to avert what would have resorted into Igbo and Yoruba fight at Iyana-Ipaja yesterday where an Igbo driver/bus conductor started abusing me because i was putting on an APC cap on my way back from the canceled Lagos State Governor's Parley With the Youths of the State because of the BRT Train accident.
And this act is capable of causing public unrest which is not good for the peace they (the frustrated Obidients) have enjoyed in Lagos because they will definitely be the biggest loosers if nothing is not urgently done to correct this issue.
Their frustration has now metamorphosised into hatred for the Yorubas as if we are the cause of the resultant effect of their ethnocentric, tribalistic and religious politics despite not even having the required number to produce president in the country without sincere alliance with either Yoruba or Hausa.
Politics we all know is all about calculation, strategy and building bridges not rabble rousing and noisemaking like theirs. So why transferring their aggression to law abiding citizens going peaceful on their own in Lagos?
My appeal to the progressive Youths of Lagos State is to be more mature and display high level of maturity by avoiding any act of provocation from these people. We must ensure we sustain the relative peace in Lagos State.
