Investigation by Abuja Network News and other sister media agencies have uncovered a plan by the Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir Elrufai to sue the CBN Governor and the Attorney General of the Federation for contempt of a Supreme Court order which pronounced old 500 and 100 Naira notes as legal tender.
All things being equal as there are enough evidence to convict the duo to move will both the CBN Governor and the Attorney General of the Federation spend some quality time behind bars.
Despite Supreme Court oder which pundits assumes will help in alleviating the pains of the citizens who were undergoing excruciating pains to meet up with daily needs due to acute shortage of currency and poor banking network the CBN Governor and the Attorney General of the Federation has continue to disregard the ruling, subjecting citizens to more unnecessary and unwarranted pains.

Pundits have continue to attach political coloration to the policy considering the fact the IMF, World Bank, Council of State and many prominent and respected agencies have called on the Federal Government to reconsider the policy but in utter disregard the FG has turned deaf ears.
