Breaking: Sokoto State Deputy Governor Resigned From PDP.

The sokoto state deputy Governor Hon. Mannir Mohammed Dan Iya has resigned from the ruling People's Democratic Party in the state pundits are already predicting that He is headed for the APC.  

The resignation was captured in a letter titled "Letter of withdrawal from the People's Democratic Party"  addressed to the Kware ward chairman, Kware Local Government Area of Sokoto State and dated 8th February, 2023.

" I write to notify you of withdrawal of my membership from the People's Democratic Party with effect from 8th February, 2023." The letter stated. 

The recent resignation is one of a series of resignations that has continue to hit the ruling PDP in the state. 

But the deputy Governor so far is the highest ranking official of the Tambuwal's government to dump the party. It could also be recalled that the Sokoto state Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal is the D.G Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council. 

At the time of filing this report Abuja Network News is yet to ascertain the next move of the deputy Governor but many are speculating that he is headed for the governing APC.
