The online war of words between the Obidients and the APC media warlords has taken a new dimension recently, as some hackers under the employ of the Obidient movement engaged in massive hacking of accounts belonging to some popular APC social media warriors mainly on twitter and Facebook.
Although most of the accounts hacked were retrieved but almost all the accounts lost a substantial number of followers. With some loosing up to10,000 followers and even more.
Most of the victims of the attacks blamed the Obidients movement for the hack sighting instances of threats by popular Obidients in that regards.
Apparently the Obidients are doing everything they can to curtail the growing influence of the APC social media warriors who's resurgence on the street is said to be challenging to the Obidients dominance thus giving them a sleepless night.
Some of the prominent APC social media accounts targeted include but not limited to
White scorpion, Naza Carly, Yeribaba, Tanimola Kolade, Paulusmaria, Tinubu Media Team, amongst others.
The Obidient Movement is primarily an online based movement with little structure on ground so it will be very frustrating for movement to see an opposing side outdo them on their primary constituency this might be the motive behind the desperate move.
It can be recalled that just yesterday the first lady of the federal republic of Nigeria raised an alarm about her twitter handle being hacked by unknown elements, chances are the hack might part of a major exercise executed by the Obidients under the direct supervision of the Labour party, a party that has been notorious in cyber bullying and have been known to attack many prominent Nigerians in a desperate bid to control the cyberspace.
