ABUJA
The Labour Party has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to suspend the collation and announcement of last Saturday’s presidential election results or outright cancellation of the entire exercise due to the violence that marred Saturday’s exercise and the inability of the election management body to upload the results.
The party noted that both President Muhammadu Buhari and the INEC chairman had promised Nigerians a free and fair election but the promises were merely observed more in breaches.
Moment ago the Labour Party team up with the PDP and seven other political parties staged a walk out from the International Conference Center Abuja the collation center for the 2023 general election after the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission refused their prayers to stop the collation or cancel the election.
