Press Release: Comrade Ayodele Adewale Appointed ICC Director.



COMRADE AYODELE ADEWALE GETS ANOTHER FEATHER; APPOINTED AS DIRECTOR IN THE DIRECTORATE OF OUTDOOR PROMOTION AND MANAGEMENT APC INDEPENDENT CAMPAIGN COUNCIL (ICC) FOR ASIWAJU BOLA TINUBU, SENATOR SHETTIMA, GOVERNOR BABAJIDE OLUSHOLA SANWO-OLU AND DR. OBAFEMI HAMZAT*


Comrade Adewale on Wednesday 18th of January 2023 was given another feather as the Independent Campaign Council (ICC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State chapter appointed him and others as directors ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Some of the appointees are Princess Aderemi Adebowale (Director Elderly widows and widowers), Alhaji Abdulahi Enilolobo (Director Mobilization), Mr. Adeboye Adeyinka Zulu (Director Special Duties and Security) while others were appointed as deputy director, secretary and member.

The Director General of the ICC Mr. Tayo Ayinde who also doubles as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Lagos State congratulated all the appointees and wished them success in their duties. He commended the appointees saying they are veterans in politics and have been carefully chosen for the job because of their loyalty and past experience at handling tasks; he charged them to work very hard for the success of all the candidates of the APC party. 

The highlight of the event was the swear-in of the new Directors and other members by Barr. Lawal Pedro SAN, Director Legal Affairs (former Solicitor General of Lagos State) and Barr. Fumilayo Tejuosho Deputy Director Legal Affairs (Former Deputy Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly). 


Present at the event to witness the occasion were Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku (Chairman, Independent Campaign Council), Mr. Kola Perigrino (Deputy Director General ICC) and Mr. Tobi Lawal (Director of Finace).

The new directors were told to quickly hold meetings with members of their directorate and come up with plans and activities that will boost the campaign and ensure victory at the polls.


Mr. Tayo Ayinde and Cardinal Odunmbaku also advised the new directors and others to put in their best for the success of the APC party, saying that the APC party  in Lagos State must mobilize over 5 million voters to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Comrade Ayodele Adewale gave thanks to almighty GOD and Mr. Tayo Ayinde for providing this opportunity to serve. He appreciated Mr. Tayo Ayinde's acknowledgement of his loyalty, contribution, commitment, passion and hard work to the development of the APC party and his community. 

In Mr. Ayinde’s words, this new appointment is a testament that Comrade Adewale’s contribution to society and politics is greatly appreciated. 

Comrade Ayodele Adewale is the APC State Organising Secretary Lagos State chapter, Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Special Duties 2 Directorate, Deputy National Coordinator of Grassroots Movement Asiwaju Tinubu and Shettima (G-MATS), former Executive Chairman Amuwo Odofin Local Government, former Mobilisation and Laison Officer to late Chief Anthony Enahoro (CFR) led Pro-National Conference Organization (PRONACO), former Secretary of the Citizens Forum led by Prof. Wole Soyinka, former secretary of June 12 coalition and stakeholders under late Dr. Beko Ransom-Kuti, former Public Relations Officer of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and former President Lagos State University Students Union Government.

Comrade Ayodele Adewale sees this new appointment as another opportunity to serve and contribute his knowledge to the success of the APC party as he has done in other organizations where he was given an opportunity to demonstrate his capacity. 

This new responsibility as Director of Outdoor Promotion and Management according to Comrade Adewale will go down in history as one of those platforms that he contributed his energy and strategic skills of teamwork to ensure the success of the Party.
