I am not one person given to verbal attacks and/or invectives on people, especially older personalities but when such an elder expected with a sense of decorum and wit throws cautions into the wind, I employ one of the many proverbial clichés from the South West. *'Àgbà tó so yanga mó 'dí, di aláwàdà edìye'* which literally translates to 'an elder that displays jejune and puerile exuberance exposes themselves to ridicule'. Such is the case with the hitherto Director of Civil Societies in the *APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC)*, Hajiya Na'ajatu Bala-Muhammed.
Idiosyncratic of her type with diarrhea of the mouth, Hajiya Na'ajatu has ne'er left anyone in doubt as to controvert her being a prowler, thruster and a crasher. Unbeknownst to her, her record as a haughty, supercilious, presumptuous and highfalutin serial blackmailer is in the open. We saw how she blackmailed President Muhammadu Buhari until the latter appointed her into the Police Service Commission (PSC) board. Ask her to produce her blueprint to the PSC Board for tackling the seeming intractable security quagmire bedeviling the country. But here's somebody who came out to verbally attack the president on the 'endless' (in her thought) insecurity.
On Na'ajatu's blab about Asiwaju not having blueprint for the North, methinks Nigerians should place such jabberwocky into where it properly belongs - the trash can. We all saw Asiwaju's presentation at the *Arewa House*, Kaduna during the townhall meeting organised by the _*Arewa Joint Committee*_. That event held on Monday, October 17, 2022 had on the eve of it several eggheads of Northern extraction hold a think-tank session with *Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu*. At the meeting which comprised some serving and former governors from the North, a member of the *Red Chamber* and other Northern brainiacs.
The Arewa event of October 17, 2022 was organised by a coalition of six groups and institutions from the North. These include the *Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Arewa House, Jam’iyyar Matan Arewa* and *Arewa Research and Development Project*. Could Na'ajatu have been more informed than those opinion leaders in the room with Asiwaju a night before? Nigerians know the Kaduna State honcho, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai for whom he is. He says it bluntly. Same El-Rufai had commended Asiwaju over what he described as the 'best deal' for the North under an Asiwaju presidency. It is overt that Na'ajatu's rants are purely mischievous. Her excoriation was borne out of an 'unmet' expectations ostensibly financial benefit which was not forthcoming as expected.
The same man whom the loose cannon described as unable to hold a cup of tea has been seen severally holding microphones at campaign rallies, dancing *'buga won'* and *'Jagaban shi ne gaba'*. For us at _*The Think-Tinubu Initiative (3TI)*_ and for most, if not all true *Progressives*, Na'ajatu Bala-Mohammed is not different from a political vagabond and scavenger who seeks endlessly where her bread can be buttered in quick time. Therefore, we do not take her expletives seriously. Her four-letter-word, profanities and cusswords are analogous to that of a fish taken out of water which can only huff and fulminate. Unfortunately, the *Atiku Abubakar* camp she now chose to hobnob with will soon see her for who she truly is.
Dear Hajiya Na'ajatu, this is not students' unionism. I hope you stop being an _*'adàgbà jé Ràúfù'*_ - an adult with a toddler brain.
