Jordan's King Abdallah II Warns of ‘Red Lines’ in Jerusalem as Netanyahu Returns To Power.

Tension continue to inflame in the middle east and across the globe as result of the decisions of a newly inaugurated government of Israel to continue with the anti Palestinian policy of previous governments. A decision which has continued to generate reactions from various quarters.

Jordan's king Abdullah II in response says He is prepared for conflict should the status of Jerusalem's holy sites change due to change of government in Israel.

In an exclusive interview with CNN the stated that there are concerns in his country that Israel is trying to push for changes to his custodianship of the Muslim and Christian holy sites in Israeli occupied Jerusalem, warning that he has redlines.

It can be recalled that the Qatari ministry of foreign affairs has condemned what it termed the continuous judainisation of the two holy sites by Israel in violation of UN charter and international law. In similar vain the Hashemite King of Jordan was quoted as saying.

“If people want to get into a conflict with us, we’re quite prepared,” he said. “I always like to believe that, let’s look at the glass half full, but we have certain red lines… And if people want to push those red lines, then we will deal with that.”
