Tinubu, Otu, APC Set To Surge In Cross Rivers.

On Tuesday,20th day of December,2022, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is bound to be in Calabar,Cross River State for a historic Town Hall Meeting with Stakeholders of the party among other members of the Electorate.

Expectedly, Tinubu will meet with a broad spectrum of supporters of his presidential ambition at the Cultural Centre Main Bowl then.

Already, preparations are in top gear for the event especially as the State Executive Committee of the party had put in place a Local Organising Committee,LOC, to midwife the process of the town hall meeting.

Led by Sir Maurice Effiwat,a former Secretary of the State Independent Electoral Commission,CROSIEC,the committee had since sprang into action after it was duly inaugurated last Monday.

Asiwaju Tinubu's visit to Calabar is also a boost to the party's activities in the state as the mass of stakeholders are poised to drive the APC progress and continuity mantra across the length and breadth of the state.

The party had suspended indefinitely it's planned state-wide campaign flag off initially fixed for December 10,but the visit of Asiwaju is a ray of light on the campaign process.

Members of the party who have been upbeat about the party's prospects for victory will make serious political scores from the event.

The Appeal Court verdict of yesterday, Thursday, December 15 which threw out Sen.Owan Enoh's appeal against the Candidature of Sen. Prince Bassey Otu was significant in showcasing the readiness of stakeholders for the campaigns and polls proper.

Stakeholders and supporters of Sen. Otu yesterday took to the streets of Calabar in celebration of the Court verdict. They had chanted "Back to South," in apparent endorsement of the Otu's Governorship.

Sen. Otu is also inaugurating an Independent Campaign Structure to kick start his wide level consultations and campaigns.

Known as Prince Otu/Odey Support Organisation, POOSO,the group will be inaugurated on Monday, December 19,prior to the arrival of Asiwaju.

POOSO is also expected to work in concert with numerous support groups of Asiwaju and other Candidates to achieve seamless campaigns and elections.

The inauguration of POOSO on 19th, Asiwaju's visit on the 20th and the proposed campaign flag off has the significance of producing flurries of party activities up to the elections proper.

The Campaign Council has already been constituted and are awaiting inauguration.

The flag off of the campaigns will witness a climax in the party's campaigns in the state.
