Despite Poor Records In Ease Of Doing Bussines Tambuwal Woes Qatari Investors.


The DG Atiku Okowa Presidential campaign council and Sokoto State governor Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has hailed the efforts of Qatari  government in making life easier of the Sokoto State's residents through the country's numerous humanitarian projects in the state.

He made this announcement in an occasions to mark the opening ceremony of the newly completed Qatari embassy complex in Abuja which also coincide with the celebrations of the Qatari national day.

The Governor also call on the Qatari business community to invest in the state which he believes will go along way in uplifting the standard of living of the residents of the state.

This is coming amongst the back drop that the governor has one of the worst records in ease of doing business in his states and also a very poor record in infrastructural development the two major indices needed by foreign investors to invest in a state.

In a press release signed by governor's Senior special assistant on media and publicity Muhammad Bello the governor also congratulate the Qatari nationals on the occasion of their national day celebrations. The statement read in full.

"Tambuwal Salutes Qatar For Charity Works, Calls For Investment 

Sokoto state Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has applauded Qatari government for its support to the less privileged in the state.

Tambuwal who was the special guest of honor at the Qatari National Day celebration on Monday was 
represented by the state Commissioner for Commerce and Trade Development,  Hon. Bashir Gidado Jegawa, 

Speaking at the event during which the country’s new embassy complex in Abuja was opened, the Governor urged the Qatari business community to invest in Sokoto State

He also appreciated the foreign government’s intervention projects in many parts of the state, noting that all of such projects have impacted positively on the lives of many people,

Felicitating with the Qatari nation on their National Day Celebration and the hosting of the 2022 edition of the World Cup, the Governor also congratulated the country on its opening of its new embassy complex."
