The NYPT has condemned in strongest terms the recent press release by APC Arewa Concerned Forum where the group claim to dissociate itself from the Presidential Campaign of the ruling APC till further notice.
In the Press release dated 27 December' 2022 signed by the group's President and it's Secretary General the APC Arewa concerned forum was quoted as saying " The aforementioned Organizations which is an amalgamated (sic) of 200 support groups influencers of the ruling APC (sic) from the 36 state in Nigeria has resolved to dissociate itself from given (sic) 6Million Votes to Tinubu/Shettima Apc Presidential aspirant (sic) in 2023 general elections. "

But in a swift reaction The Northern Young Professionals for Tinubu in a counter Press release dated 28,December, 2022 and signed by the group's National Coordinator Honorable Abdullahi Tanko Yakassai has faulted the APC Arewa concerned forum accusing them of making bogus claims and failure to use appropriate party channels in resolving disputes which ought to be family affair.
The group also faulted the claims of the APC Arewa concerned forum as being an amalgam of 200 support groups which according to the press release where unknown,unseen and unmentioned by both the ACOF, the party (APC) and the community of Tinubu/Shettima support groups community.
