The famous Nagarta Old boys Association 1984 Chapter aka NOBA 84 has reelected it's President for yet another two year terms in it's annual General meeting held in Birnin Kebbi the Kebbi State Capital Northwest Nigeria.
Nagarta college Sokoto is one of the most prominent schools in the history of Nigeria. Established in 1905 the 117 years old school has produced many prominent names in Nigeria's religious, political as well as traditional circle.
Amongst it's most influential alumnus the school can boost of names like the legendary Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna of Sokoto of blessed memories, late Alhaji Shehu Shagari former President federal republic of Nigeria, Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gummi former Grand Kadi of Northern Nigeria, Sultans Ibrahim Dasuki and Muhammadu Maccido of blessed memories amongst many prominent names including Emirs, business moguls, academics and what have you.
No wonder Garba Aliyu Gayari was eleted in his choice by his colleagues as well as classmates of 1984 lead the said chapter of the old boys Association. In a statement shared on social media he was quote as saying.

"I want to first and foremost begin by expressing my profound gratitude to Allah SWT, who in HIS infinite mercies and wisdom, spared our lives to witness this epoch making event, which is unprecedented in the history of our association. It is my prayer that, may the Omnipotent strengthen our union for the mutual benefit of all of us.
I'm also obliged to acknowledge with deep sense of gratitude the honour done to me by you people, for the confidence you reposed on me to lead you once again for next two years. I assure you that, I will do my utmost best, to bring sanity into the association, with a view to forging genuine reconciliation within the rank and file of NOBA 84 chapter. Together we passed through stages at Nagarta College and even beyond. We must not therefore at this point in time allow sentiments and pacifist considerations to divide us. As far as this election is concerned, there are no loosers. We are all winners, and together we shall chart a new course for our association.
May I also use this medium to appreciate everyone who have contributed in one way or the other towards the success of our AGM, particularly the outgoing CTC for their excellent achievements within a very short stint, and Kebbi State chapter for hosting this year's AGM.On a final Note please accept the assurance of my highest and sincere commitment as usual to uphold the noble ideals for which this association was primarily intended to address since 1994 . Thanks Once more."
